Last year on one of my annual trips back home to Nigeria, I travelled to the small community of Awóyaya where I got to document a health education sensitization forum through some photojournalism for the Nigerian-based NGO, C.H.I.E.F. Moving along the periphery of the crowd in silent observation, I was instantly drawn to this toddler who seemed to be humming gently in her own world - oblivious to the one around her.
