Leaving my DSLR camera behind, the initial plan had been to just soak up the summer sun in Gamla Stan sans camera – totally living each moment.

Within minutes, I was reaching into the purse for my trusty old point-and-shoot backup camera….

    That’s like me without a pen and notebook. On the rare occasions I leave home without them, I’m immediately scrambling for a napkin and a borrowed writing instrument! Great photos, as usual!

    I love the photos. I think you captured aspects of Stockholm very well, and they get me excited about our upcoming trip to Stockholm. I’ll have a full month to do absolutely nothing while my husband completes his PhD. I plan to just do a lot of walking and taking in of what I consider to be one of Europe’s loveliest cities.
