While I’m traveling for two weeks, here are a couple favorite shots for the postcard series.
While volunteering in Nicaragua, we instantly bonded with the teachers we were training. One of them brought along her adorable daughter who instantly became our little pet. This shot was taken on the last day of training as they all left on a bus. Why I love this shot is that at first glance, you think she’s got one supersized hand, but as you look closer, you finally figure it out.

Francisco and I were talking the other day about how almost every kid is naturally photogenic– when do we lose that capacity to just smile big and generously and without restraint? Great shot, as always, Lola!
Julie – You are so right about kids! thanks
I really like this shot. She looks so happy!
