I’d previously discussed Lagom – that difficult-to-explain concept that Swedes live by. Extravagant displays of emotion are rare. This photograph was shot at the Stockholm Jazz festival which I’d dispatched from earlier this year.
What struck me was the demeanor of the crowd. They were listening to a high energy jazz band.

Are you sure this are Swedes? They could be Swiss!
lol. look at that energy! lol
Very funny and interesting. They look like they are listening to a serious speech.
I agree with Wendy. If you hadn’t said it I wouldn’t have thought they were listening to something high energy. No one is even moving!
I think a lot of people in Sweden live by the concept of “lagom” because everyone wants to blend in.
This is amusing but I’m not surprised they were listening to high energy jazz. Jazz is a highly intellectual art form and I have observed many Euoropean fans who appreciate it by sitting and contemplating. (Although some do attempt to nod their heads to the beat!)
