If you’ll be in the DC area this weekend, be sure to stop by the Adventures in Travel Expo. Totally bummed that I would be missing it this year, but I did hit the expo last year and mused about it on Matador Travel under a post titled Adventure comes to town.
Beth Whitman, author of Wanderlust and Lipstick, and the highly popular travel site of the same name geared towards empowering female travelers, will be speaking at 11:45 am on Saturday, February 21.
Her seminar titled “Wandering Women…Planning Your Next Great Adventure!” is just what you need to flame your wanderlust, pack up, and hope the next flight out to somewhere exotic.
