I was grabbing some breakfast in a deli and heard a plane hit the towers on the TV. While I looked up I saw the live footage of plane 2 hit. Surreal, I’ll still never forget it.

I was getting ready for school. My first class of the day was Spanish class and I remember the burnt smell in the wind coming through the window.

I was in Calculus class in at Georgia State University. The students were panicking and trying to find a way out of downtown Atlanta. The campus shuttle buses were filled to capacity leaving a sea of people waiting for another bus. I remember someone telling me the country was under attack. My heart literally fell in my chest. I cried all the way home. I felt so helpless.
