@Ekua – The decor is certainly different. The first shot feels like all the items were salvaged from a sunken ship.
@Fly Girl – Precisely. Sweden is known more for contemporary, futuristic designs and decor. This hotel is housed in a very old building in historic Gamla Stan (old town).
@Lyn – Yes, it’s got the flair of a boutique hotel.

Looks really cosy! I’d be interested to hear what hotel the last picture was taken in.

Just noticed the letters on the window. After checking out the website http://www.djuret.se/ I realized that’s not exactly a restaurant for a vegetarian.

Lovely photos, these look like very interesting and unique hotels.
The pictures bring along an undescribable feeling.
Great photos Lola!
Gorgeous! All these places reek of ambiance but somehow, I wouldn’t have pegged them for Sweden. They look so dark and moody, I thought Russia.
Are these boutique hotels? They look so quaint and inviting. Thanks for sharing … I want to pack my carry on!
Thanks guys!

Haha. Yes, “The Animal” is definitely no place for a vegetarian. The entire menu was made from wild boar on the day I was visiting.
I try and follow most of your photography, Lola. It’s all stunning.
@simonemarie – Many thanks!
Beautiful photos Lola. The third photo looks so inviting on a winter’s day. Scandinavian interior design has always fascinated me.
@Nancy – Thanks!
