The raw feelings that wash over me at the sight of a newborn baby are indescribable. While cliché words like “innocent” and “precious” immediately pop into mind, when I see a newborn, I see man at his/her purest.
In essence, at the very best moment of ourselves when we didn’t know much and didn’t need to.
Plus, newborns are cute too…

Wonderful shot and sentiment! We just spent last weekend with friends in Bratislava who have an 8-week old, but he was born 6 weeks early so he’s just getting up to newborn size (3.5 kilos). So sweet – the whole world seems open to him.
