I shy away from really old buildings (as in 50 years or older, talk less of 780+ years old) for many reasons. Mostly because I’d rather not share my room with previous residents from generations past.

It’s amazing how sheep in a foreign land take on more significance while one is traveling.

There’s a water shortage. Again. Across the whole campus.

We know what this means – trekking down to the nearby village along the shores of the lagoon with our gray metal pails and plastic buckets…
