    Wow – the link is great Lola. So many great photos. That is a killer assignment you’ve pulled. I am very jealous!

    Wow, Lola, this is gorgeous.

    @Jeff – Thanks! I’m extremely stoked about it. Seriously though, no need to be “jealous” though I understand the sentiment behind it.

    What may seem like a cool path for others may actually not be the right one for you or me. This is just another way for photographers to work with their local boards/travel organizations, depending on the ultimate goals of the photographer as well.

    @Hal – Blushing. Thank you!

    You’re killing me with these awesome snow shots, Lola! Thanks for experiencing this and photographing it so I can see the beauty without having to be in the snow :P

    Is it bad that my first reaction was “OH lookit at the cutie doggie butts!!”?

    Gorgeous pic though. I’m shivering on your behalf!

    @Julie – Haha. The Urb takes care of that ;)

    @Ekua – Thanks! After a little bit of time, you just get used to it…breathing through nose/mouth closed so as not to get the cold in one’s throat/etc

    @Michelle – Cutie doggie butts, along with puppies and babies always works :) Thanks!

    [...] Three weeks ago, I was in Swedish Lapland covering the now 406 year old Sámi market, meeting and interviewing lots of intriguing people like Greta Huuva, Ylva-Marie Paval, and Lennart Pittja, and tirelessly chasing down stories and potential ideas, with the result being hundreds of photos that needed to be sorted, tons of really cool stories I’ll be sharing, and plans to go back up north to work on a few projects within the Sápmi region.
